Larry Emdur and his wife Sylvie have showcased their latest renovation project as they continue to build their property empire.

The 56-year-old co-host of The Morning Show gave a sneak peek into the run down home he plans to renovate, in a video posted shared to his Instagram.

In the footage, Larry first shows the broken-up wooden floorboards of the property before he moves the camera towards the ceiling, which has been extracted, with only the aluminium foil insulation remaining.

New project:  Larry Emdur revealed his plans to turn a ‘dangerously dilapidated termites nest’ into a ‘fabulous industrial love nest’ on Thursday, as the Channel Seven star continues to build his multimillion dollar property portfolio

‘This is where the ceiling use to be before the termites ate the rafters all away,’ he says in the clip.

‘Now the ceiling is on the floor, where else would the ceiling be?’ he continues as he points the camera to a big pile of rubble in one of the rooms.

Larry then points the camera at an object that has been suspended in the air by a series of cords.

‘The good news is there’s a beautiful chandelier,’ he jokes before revealing it’s actually a piece of wood with a lightbulb.

In the caption, the TV host says that he and his wife Sylvie were ‘going to attempt to turn this dangerously dilapidated massive termites nest into a fabulous industrial boho love nest.’

Larry went on to explains the renovation is an ‘ambitious marriage testing project.’

‘It’ll either be AMAZING or an absolute ****ing disaster,’ he adds. ‘Either way it’ll be great Insta content… watch this space, wish us luck.’

Larry and Sylvie have assembled quite an impressive property portfolio across New South Wales.

The pair recently purchased a derelict block at Neverfail Bay in Berowra Waters in late August.

The block of land, which last sold for $575,000 in 1999, was purchased by the Emdurs for $1million dollars.

Before that, they bought an architecturally designed weekender, also in Berowra Waters, in 2019 for $1.1million.

The riverfront property includes a home with 5 metre-high ceilings and an almost entirely glass wall facing the river.

At about the same time, the Emdurs spent $2.15million on a stylish shipping-container home in Kangaroo Valley.

The house blends steel, glass and polished concrete floors with eco-friendly features, such as solar panels with a battery bank and rainwater harvesting.

Larry also recently sold his Bondi Beach investment property earlier this year.
